PNC6 - the digital generation is here

PNC6 has now been released; the software includes the following features:

  • Medical Lexicon - gives operators the ability to choose complex medical spellings.
  • Calls History - option to view a specific number of days.
  • Quick Notes - template for any subject.
  • Notes - applied to calls history and active calls.
  • Contact Groups - ability to attach scheme contacts to dispersed alarms.
  • Contact Schedule - displays current availability of any contact.
  • Risk Indicator - enables a risk to be added to a client.
  • Automatic Actions - are added to calls history these include Call tone, Volume up, Volume down, Lock release, Change duplex and IP redial (MCU only).
  • Warden On/Off site - the ability to dedicate a specific speech module or modules for this function.
  • IP Flag - this indicates the call used Internet Protocol to raise its alarm.


Optional Additions

  • Mapping - locations of service users and their contacts can be displayed on a map, enabling operators to select the nearest responder, and guide them to the right address.
  • Call Conferencing - allows the connection of conversations with multiple parties.
  • Audit Trail - provides a consistent means of auditing all changes to key database entries.
  • Wallboard - a dedicated Wallboard system is now available, designed in consultation with monitoring centre management. This gives graphical indication of current, historical and projected levels of calls.
  • SMS Text Messaging (additional module) - Outbound SMS messaging is now available directly from within the PNC user interface. This feature requires an internet connection. There is also Quick SMS for building SMS templates (SMS limit 160 characters). SMS messages are included in the appropriate notes field.
  • Integrated Voice Recording (additional module) - only available for users when purchasing the optional Cybertech voice recording subsystem. This allows users to access recordings directly from the Calls History user interface. Users can then listen to either any call or just the calls they have participated in, pause, rewind and save recordings into a file on the PNC.
  • New Management Reports - six new general Management Reports have been added, and two TSA-specific reports.
  • Agenda - this provides timed reminders for social inclusion calls etc
