Telehealth is key to transforming NHS services

Following the Health Secretary's announcement of proposals to radically reform the NHS, a key area of focus will be on giving more support to patients in the community, to improve outcomes and reduce emergency readmissions into hospital. UK's Largest Telehealth Programme Will Benefit Over 2000 New Patients

NHS North Yorkshire and York (NHS NYY) has announced its investment in a further 2,000 Tunstall Healthcare telehealth systems, which will make the deployment the largest telehealth programme in the UK.

The contract, which will run over three years, was announced this week as NHS NYY unveiled plans to support patients in the area living with long-term conditions using Tunstall's telehealth systems.
